"My Thoughts about Israel"

My Thoughts about Israel:

I see so many believers posting conflicting thoughts on whether or not Israel is still God's chosen or if the church has replaced Israel. Also, some spit on the conflict over the land that Israel has for years just tried to protect/defend as their own against some that has admittedly wanted them wiped away from the earth. REPLACEMENT IS NOT A BIBLICAL OPTION! Romans 11 warns us to stay humble in this conversation because ISRAEL SHALL BE SAVED!

Here are the issues that I have:

1. We must remember that God isn't done with Israel. Read Romans 11. Israel is not representing Him right now but one day they will represent God and His Kingdom with us. This is a depensation of Love & Grace. God is giving time for Gentiles (non natural Jews to be saved) while he continues to deal with Israel.

2. "Grafted in" - the process of grafting is where two plants are put together to EVENTUALLY grow together as one. Scripture says we were grafted into the covenant of promise! Scripture says the wild and tame would grow up TOGETHER.

Tame olive tree - The house of Israel, the Lord’s covenant people.

Wild olive tree - Gentiles (people not born into the house of Israel)

3. Promises ----- BE VERY CAREFUL HERE-----Even if you do not believe that Israel is God's people anymore, my question is what do you believe about the promises of God? Are they still yes and amen? Do we teach people to fight for the promises that God has made? BE CAREFUL NOT TO BRING RELATIVITY INTO THE CONVERSATION BECAUSE YOU ERODE SCRIPTURE AND YOUR FAITH because truth doesn't change based upon situations.

The truth based upon scripture is God gave Israel that land and they have been pressured politically for centuries to give it up piece by piece. IT'S THEIR LAND, PROMISED TO THEM ...JUST AS HEALING IS PROMISED TO YOU.

Truth is 4,000 years ago in Genesis 15:18 God promises the land to the Israelites.  Genesis 15:17-18 17 And it came to pass, when the sun went down and it was dark, that behold, there appeared a smoking oven and a burning torch that passed between those pieces. 18 On the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying:  “To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates..."

On Saturday October 7th Hamas terrorists from the Gaza Strip attacked Israel, fired 5000 rockets into Israel and infiltrated Israel slaughtering over 1300 innocent people including the elderly, children & babies - 40 babies were found beheaded - 260 young people were murdered at a music festival and their dead bodies were paraded through the streets of Gaza while people celebrated ---just to mention a few of the atrocities!

They also kidnapped 150 innocent civilians!

I Stand with Israel’s right to defend themselves and make their country safe by ridding itself of every Hamas terrorist and those who support them...after all its their land promised to them...JUST AS HEALING IS PROMISED TO YOU.

Selah...

Let’s be honest—Easter, for many, has become just another holiday on the calendar. Bright pastel ads, last-minute retail runs, and overflowing candy aisles often drown out the deeper meaning of the season.

Some people leave a mark on your organization. Others leave a mark on your heart. Pastor Ricky D. Floyd did both. It’s hard to put into words what this man meant to me, to Kings & Priests, and to so many others who were blessed to cross his path.

I was seven the first time I hid a crack pipe. It was used, still warm, and I slid it under the big blue sectional before my big brother could open the door. He was at the front, shaking. “My mom said not to let anybody in,” he kept repeating.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and an opportune time for us to examine where we are as a people as well as a church when it comes to the stigmatization that continues to follow this critical area of our well-being. While society overall has begun trending toward more awareness, there has not been that same movement in churches, especially congregations that are historically houses of worship for people of color.

Marriage is ministry. It’s not about who leads, who follows, who talks louder, or who works harder. It’s about two people walking in agreement under God’s covering, carrying the weight of life together, and building a love that honors the Lord.

When most people think of the Prison Ministry, they think of going inside the correctional facilities. That is my passion, and I’ve done it for forty-seven years; however, I realize that other people find going into a facility intimidating.

To everything, there is a season. As one season comes to a close, another begins. Just as Moses passed the mantle to Joshua, I am honored to pass the mantle of leadership to Evangelist Leandra Green as the new pastor of Believers Temple Word Fellowship.
