Celebrating Mrs. Joy Blair: A True Empowered Entrepreneur

This March, in honor of Women's History Month, we proudly celebrate Mrs. Joy Blair, an exceptional entrepreneur whose businesses embody the essence of beauty, wellness, and compassionate care. Through her unwavering faith and dedication, Mrs. Blair has built flourishing ventures: Glory Glory and Joy Home Health Care & Grace CDS, both grounded in her personal commitment to serving others.

Glory Glory: Empowering Beauty, Inside and Out

At Glory Glory, Mrs. Blair’s beauty and wellness brand offers much more than skincare; it’s a movement designed to empower individuals to embrace their true, God-given beauty. With a focus on inner beauty and self-expression, Glory Glory’s products range from nourishing skincare to body-enhancing accessories, all crafted with love and devotion. The brand’s mission is clear: "Embrace your beauty. Embrace your God-Given Glory."

Through carefully formulated beauty and wellness solutions, Glory Glory encourages individuals to celebrate their unique qualities and shine with confidence, all while honoring the glory of God in their lives. Mrs. Blair's motto, inspired by 2 Corinthians 3:18, speaks to her belief that beauty begins with a humble heart and a willingness to reflect the divine light within us all.

Joy Home Health Care & Grace CDS: Compassionate Care for Every Stage of Life Mrs. Blair’s heart also truly beats for those in need of personal care and home health services. Joy Home Health Care & Grace CDS was founded in 2014 with a mission of providing a comprehensive range of home care services, from in-home personal care to specialized care for veterans and children with special needs. Her services include everything from medication reminders to respite care, ensuring that individuals can live independently while receiving the support they need. This is a much-needed service in our community.

The company also offers Consumer Directed Services (CDS), allowing families to choose caregivers who provide services like meal preparation, medication reminders, and errands, all tailored to the unique needs of each client. Mrs. Blair’s business ensures that clients are treated with the utmost respect and compassion, with a mission to cultivate both physical well-being and peace of mind.

A Life of Service and Dedication

As a mother, a businesswoman, and a leader, Mrs. Blair exemplifies what it means to thrive as a solo entrepreneur. She oversees operations, manages human resources, ensures regulatory compliance, and crafts training programs—all with the goal of providing excellent care and service to the community. Her deep commitment to the welfare of others, rooted in her faith, shines through in every facet of her work.

With over twenty years of experience in the healthcare field, Mrs. Blair has dedicated her career to making a lasting impact in the lives of her clients, both in beauty and wellness and in healthcare. Through Glory Glory and Joy Home Health Care & Grace CDS, she has built businesses that not only improve lives but also empower individuals to embrace their unique beauty and live their best lives.

Mrs. Joy Blair’s journey is a testament to the power of faith, service, and entrepreneurial spirit. This Women’s History Month, we honor her dedication, her businesses, and her enduring belief that beauty and care come from within and are meant to be shared with the world.

Some people leave a mark on your organization. Others leave a mark on your heart. Pastor Ricky D. Floyd did both. It’s hard to put into words what this man meant to me, to Kings & Priests, and to so many others who were blessed to cross his path.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and an opportune time for us to examine where we are as a people as well as a church when it comes to the stigmatization that continues to follow this critical area of our well-being. While society overall has begun trending toward more awareness, there has not been that same movement in churches, especially congregations that are historically houses of worship for people of color.

To everything, there is a season. As one season comes to a close, another begins. Just as Moses passed the mantle to Joshua, I am honored to pass the mantle of leadership to Evangelist Leandra Green as the new pastor of Believers Temple Word Fellowship.
